Are you an experienced administrator looking for a part-time opportunity? Join Brighton & Hove Clinic as a Medical Administrator and enjoy a career where you are valued and supported to be the best you can be.
Working 22.5 hours a week, you will be responsible for providing confidential and efficient administrative support to a Consultant Psychiatrist within a CAMHS inpatient service.
From managing the Consultant Psychiatrists diary, planning meetings and arranging travel arrangements to drafting correspondence and managing clinical records, you will be able to turn your hand to any admin related task.
As a Medical Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing and sending out bi-monthly reviews from the information from the CPAs and MDT Meetings to the relevant external professionals and service users' relatives.
You will provide cover for the reception team which will see you meet and greet visitors, contractors & ensure they complete compliance documentation and receive incoming and initiate outgoing telephone calls.

Our Medical Administrator role involves:
* Transcribing the minutes and entering them into the patients Care Notes record
* Ensuring that all relevant paperwork required before care plan meetings has been received and distributed accordingly
* Ensuring Care Notes is kept up to date with any informed changes to professionals’ information, etc.
* Typing up discharge summaries, consultant’s letters and other typing tasks.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* Excellent IT skills with a strong level of proficiency for the standard range of Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel
* Experience within a similar role and/or environment
* Exceptional organisation, reception and clerical skills and be able to demonstrate audio typing ability
* An understanding of medical terminology is desirable
* Experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical or another appropriate background
This position is part-time, 22.5 hours per week, working Wednesday, Thursday & Friday.
