We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to lead our dynamic team on Beaumont Ward at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit.
Beaumont Ward is a 22-bedded Mental Health Ward, providing care in a fast-paced environment to patients with complex mental health conditions and physical co-morbidities.
As a Ward Sister, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our patients. You will lead by example, providing support and guidance to your team while fostering a positive and inclusive working environment. Your approachable and compassionate leadership style will empower staff to excel and contribute to continuous quality improvements.

Job Description Summary (Main duties and responsibilities)
Lead and manage the ward team, ensuring safe and effective patient care.
Support staff development through coaching and mentoring.
Foster a compassionate and supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Implement quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with consultants and Matrons.
Manage conflict effectively, using active listening and informal mediation when necessary.
Reflect on leadership practices to continuously improve and adapt.
