Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Design Project Manager to join their team for the Curzon Street Station Project. As a Design Project Manager, you will support the Head of Design, ensuring consistency across the Design and Engineering group in terms of project management, contract administration, programme management, change control, and overall progress reporting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the AWJV design contract, including cost control and contract administration activities.
2. Coordinate management of communications (EWs, GCs, CEs, TQs) and provide responses.
3. Manage project-wide design scope and design change, maintaining records of changes.
4. Manage the design programme and programme changes.
5. Support Design Delivery Managers in cost and programme reviews.
6. Assist in regular design status reporting.
7. Liaise closely with the Consultant Design PM and HS2 Design PM to ensure clear and consistent messaging.
8. Responsible for the implementation of TACs, instruction to the Consultant, and preparation of quotations.
9. Ensure TIDP's and MIDP's are produced in a timely manner and tracked through the assurance process.
10. Ensure consistency across all design work packages with respect to contract administration, reporting, programme, change, and quality.
11. Collaborate with the consultant to deliver best value design services.

Qualifications, Certifications & Experience
18. Experience within a similar role within an appropriately sized engineering organisation.
19. Educated to degree or higher level in a numerate discipline, typically Engineering (or related).
20. Membership of an appropriate professional body, typically Chartered member of the Institute of Civil Engineering or equivalent.
