Deploying the latest innovative solutions and working in partnership with our customers and stakeholders, the team takes a holistic approach to managing water quality and flow across the region. Currently delivering a £50million portfolio which rapidly expands to over £2 billion over next 10 years. This is a fast-paced team that is now expanding to continue to deliver a larger programme of sustainable and innovative solutions. A brand-new position has been created to join our Environment & Innovation team as a Governance Reporting Lead. Job Overview The Portfolio Management team provides the central ‘hub’ for the projects and programmes in the Environment & Innovation directorate. The Governance & Reporting Lead will ensure the directorate operates with the highest standards of governance, compliance and reporting. Responsible for documenting, implementing and improving Environment & Innovation agile governance. Responsible for documenting, implementing and improving Environment & Innovation change management frameworks. Preparation and analysis of performance reporting for stakeholder reporting and governance boards. Identify performance trends early and any variation from budget, recommending corrective actions to the Director / Executive Team. Responsible for internal audit, assurance and quality control approach. Accountable for ensuring SW governance is adhered to when appropriate, including presenting at governance boards. Carry out any other duties appropriate to this post including deputising for Head of Portfolio Management when needed. About You Significant demonstrable experience of shaping, scoping and delivering Governance and Reporting in regulated industry. Strong experience in setting, development, configuration and management of governance & assurance processes. Strong experience in implementing effective reporting with analysis for complex data set which can simplified for a wide audience Ability to engage with Executive Leadership through management of the governance process. Strong stakeholder management experience. Extensive experience with working across a complex project and Programme delivery cycle. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to consistently work with tight deadlines and deliver results. Leadership skills and experience of managing a team. Package This role will be full time Monday to Friday with a hybrid approach to working between our Durrington/Falmer offices (or within our region) and home.
