Are you a nurturing and passionate Reception Teacher looking to make a lasting impact on young learners? This role begins in April 2025.
Duties as a Reception Teacher:
* Plan and deliver stimulating and creative lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
* Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where children can thrive.
* Develop pupils’ social, emotional, and academic skills through play-based and structured learning.
* Assess, track, and monitor children’s progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
* Work closely with support staff, parents, and carers to foster strong home-school partnerships as a Reception Teacher.
* Encourage positive behaviour and independence in young learners.
* Participate in school events, staff training, and extracurricular activities.
Ideal Reception Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
* A deep understanding of early childhood development and learning through play.
* A nurturing and patient approach to teaching.
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills.
* A passion for supporting children’s early development and school readiness.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
