My client is a well-established Main Contractor who has several divisions including Build, Refurbishment, and Maintenance, working across Industrial, Commercial, and Retail sectors. They are a financially stable business that has been trading for over 100 years.
As a result of growth and having many live sites, they are looking to recruit a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
Initially, you would be working on internal and external refurbishments to industrial units and office space across the North West (projects in Manchester and Liverpool). Works would include rip outs of warehouse/industrial units, installation of mezzanine floors, creation of office spaces within the units, refurbishment of toilet facilities, etc.
Your duties will include:
1. Managing a site team including Tradesmen, Subcontractors, etc., ensuring works are being carried out to programme and within budget.
2. Monitoring health and safety on site.
3. Attending progress meetings and client meetings.
4. Quality control & progression.
5. Managing Health & Safety.
6. Site Inductions.
The successful candidate must have previous experience managing and delivering fit-out/refurbishment projects, and will ideally have a joinery background.
You will also need the following tickets:
1. SMSTS
2. CSCS
3. First Aid
4. Fire Marshal
