The ideal candidate will be an experienced Soft Services Manager who has both catering and cleaning management experience. A proven track record in facilities management would be perfect.
Main Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
* Assist in managing on-site services to meet agreed standards, helping ensure deadlines and targets are met under the guidance of the General Services Manager (GSM).
* Support the efficient management of costs to help ensure contract profitability.
* Be a point of contact between the client(s) and the team when the GSM is unavailable.
* Help deliver Sodexo services and support teams to meet agreed service levels and standards as directed by the GSM.
* Promote Sodexo strategies and best practices within the team to help meet the company’s mission and values.
* Follow company policies and procedures, ensuring statutory requirements are met and deadlines are adhered to.
* Assist in leading and motivating a team to meet the required service standards and quality.
* Support the GSM in understanding and responding to client needs and help contribute to business strategies.
* Contribute ideas for continuous improvement in people, processes, and services.

What you bring:
* Previous experience in an operational role within a similar environment, managing contracts or services.
* Experience working with or leading teams, particularly those working across multiple shifts or services.
* Basic understanding of financial information and how it applies to contract management.
* Strong communication skills.
* Able to meet performance standards in areas like health and safety, hygiene, and service quality.
* Capable of handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
* Ability to collaborate with other service providers and teams.
* Willingness to learn and develop within the role, identifying areas for personal training and growth.
* Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a team.
* IOSH qualification (or willingness to work towards).
* Food Safety experience or knowledge.
* Previous experience in delivering training is a plus.
