The Role
1. Being one of the main points of contact on a portfolio of clients on day-to-day tax matters and working with Senior Managers and Managers on our larger client accounts
2. Supporting on tax advisory projects by providing UK corporation tax input based on experience and researching topics and by working with other areas of tax and our overseas members firms to incorporate their input into our advice
3. Ensuring our clients are kept up to date with emerging corporate and wider tax developments impacting their business
4. Supporting on the delivery of UK corporation tax compliance services
5. Supervising the work of junior members of staff and providing coaching to support their development.
6. Assisting our Managers and Senior Managers with client account management, including complying with appropriate quality and risk management procedures and financial management
7. Support the leadership with business development opportunities
The person
8. Qualified CTA or ACA / CA or equivalent
9. UK corporation tax experience
10. Analyses problems, identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates, and integrates information
11. Communicates with impact, in a way that is open, honest, consistent, and clear
12. Sustains a high level of drive, shows enthusiasm and a positive attitude when coping with pressure at work
13. Takes personal responsibility and accountability for managing own work and juggling competing priorities
14. Continuously learns from experiences, seeking out feedback and development opportunities
15. Coaches less experienced staff, giving clear directions and constructive feedback
16. Works in a cooperative, respectful manner with colleagues, clients, and the wider community
