1. The Department
The Club’s Security and Matchday Safety Department are vital to the Club in ensuring that our people and premises remain safe and protected. We provide a 24/7 service across all sites and the department is now expanding to ensure we can continue to deliver excellence
2. The Role
Working as part of a team of Security Compliance Officers, you will oversee and maintain the security protocols at the Club’s Bodymoor Heath Training Ground providing a day to day, onsite, visible security presence will be the primary function of your role. You will be a Club ambassador and provide a welcoming and professional first impression to any staff and visitors. The role will be incredibly varied, and your day-to-day activities will include (but not limited to), managing contractors, responding to any on site incidents, regular patrols, and report all security breaches, monitoring CCTV systems and access control, update security logs, checklists and any other documentation as required for recording and evidential purposes.

The Person
The successful postholder must hold a current SIA Security Guard Licence and have previous experience in a Security Officer role. You must also be available to work shift pattern arrangements which will include working flexibly across days, nights and weekends.
Ideally you will have the ability respond and attend onsite incidence and managing difficult situations, difficult requests, queries, and challenging enquiries in a professional manner. You will also have experience in resolving conflict and incidents as they arise with the ability to maintain accurate written and electronic records. You will also have experience monitoring CCTV systems, access control, fire alarms and intruder alarms.
You will be a team player with a positive, “can-do” attitude, an individual who enjoys as working as one part of a successful team to achieve a common goal as well as someone who has excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to build relationships with different audiences. You will also be proficiency using (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Outlook and Teams)
