Role Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of IT Services to join our IT Leadership team. This pivotal role is responsible for managing and delivering our IT strategy, including Service Management, Service Delivery, Technical Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Data and Information Security. You will lead a small in-house team, supported by a Managed Service Provider, to ensure operational excellence across our IT systems and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the operational excellence of all systems and infrastructure.
* Lead and develop a small IT team, complemented by external partners.
* Implement IT strategies aligned with industry best practices, supported by KPIs and SLAs.
* Develop strategic relationships with vendors to optimize technology use and cost-efficiency.
* Manage and report on the IT Services budget in collaboration with the CIO.
* Oversee the security strategy for Azure infrastructure, including regular security testing.
* Ensure compliance with data governance and regulations across all geographies.
* Lead crisis and incident communications, maintaining service levels during disruptions.
* Collaborate with business stakeholders to align IT services with business needs.
* Plan and execute a Technical Operations strategy that supports future business growth.
* Sponsor and implement a Security transformation program across the organization.
What We’re Looking For:
* A proven leader with experience in managing infrastructure and systems teams in a 24/7 high-availability environment.
* Expertise in delivering IT services to geographically dispersed users.
* Strong background in managing cloud-based Azure platforms, with a focus on speed, reliability, security, and compliance.
* Experience in vendor management and ensuring technology solutions meet business needs.
* Solid track record in incident management and business continuity.
* Knowledge of security best practices, ideally within an ISO 27001 environment.
* Familiarity with IT service desk tools and network infrastructure design.
* Technical expertise in Windows environments, Azure Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure Security.
* ITIL accreditation or similar qualifications preferred.
