St Antony’s College is recruiting for an Operations Manager. This is a new and pivotal role, responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality services across accommodation, events, and other operational functions, overseeing daily activities and providing effective line management to Heads of Department. The Operations Manager will foster a culture of professionalism and accountability within the team, ensuring that high standards are maintained across all operational functions. The successful candidate will empower Heads of Department, facilitate professional development, and create an environment that encourages innovation and operational excellence. To be successful in your application, you will have proven experience in a management role, with the ability to motivate and develop your staff and solve problems in complex environments. The ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands will be vital, along with exceptional interpersonal skills and a customer-orientated focus. You will have a flexible and positive attitude, and a willingness to take a hands-on approach, along with a sound knowledge of licensing and compliance requirements and budget management. Experience of hospitality and events management and sympathy with the values, ethos and objectives of a collegiate and academic environment would be advantageous.
