KS2 Year 3 Behavioural Support Assistant – Sunderland (SR3)
Teaching Personnel are seeking a Behavioural Support Assistant to work with a Year 3 pupil in a SEN primary school in Peterlee (SR8). This role equires a nurturing presence to redirect disruptive behaviour and someone who is able to remain calm and offer positive solutions.The incoming TA will be expected to engage with pupil’s classwork and supporting any difficulties following the curriculum. This role is full-time and provides the possibility of a school contract after a successful trial period paid by Teaching Personnel.
This role will also involve supporting the school’s Year 3 class teacher, working well within the classroom around other pupils. Applicants should be familiar with appropriate safeguarding practices and have the patience and empathy to work closely with a sometimes challenging and defiant pupils. Experience with SEN pupils is beneficial and Psychology Graduates are encouraged to apply.
About the role:
£83.85+ per day through PAYE (no umbrella company or agency fees).
Primary School located in the Trafford area (M31) and is easily accessible by bus or tram. The school also has on-site parking.
Full-time role Monday-Friday 8:30am-3:30pm paid on a timesheet basis through Teaching Personnel.
November start following registration with Teaching Personnel.
