Position Overview:
Kenvue is seeking a Procurement Technology Domain Product Owner to join our Procurement Digital Transformation team. This pivotal role will drive the execution of technology projects within procurement, ensuring strategic alignment, seamless integration, and delivery of innovative digital solutions as part of a multi-year transformation program.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of procurement technology ecosystems, ERP systems, automation, data governance, and digital transformation.
As a key member of the procurement technology team, you will play a crucial role in delivering digital procurement solutions for the Inflight and Enterprise Products pillars of Procurement Transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Management: Establish Technology roadmaps to achieve effective and efficient delivery of business and customer value for assigned products.
2. Product Management: Drive selection of solution options and balance tech debt, including build versus buy decisions.
3. Technology Project Execution: Oversee the end-to-end delivery of technology-driven procurement projects, from initiation through deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
4. Procurement Tech Stack Integration: Lead integration and optimization of procurement technologies, including ERP systems (SAP, Coupa, Fieldglass, Ariba, etc.), automation platforms, and data analytics solutions.
5. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Procurement, IT, Finance, and Supply Chain, ensuring technology solutions meet business needs while aligning with enterprise architecture.
6. Change & Risk Management: Identify potential risks, manage change control processes, and implement governance frameworks to ensure seamless technology adoption within procurement.
7. Data & Analytics Enablement: Support data-driven decision-making by aligning procurement technology with data governance, analytics platforms, and business intelligence tools.
8. Process Optimization & Automation: Drive process improvements by leveraging automation, AI, and digital tools to enhance efficiency, compliance, and visibility across procurement operations.
9. Capacity & Demand Management: Manage technology demand intake, assess demand, and ensure resource alignment for strategic procurement technology initiatives.
10. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement best practices in technology project management, procurement operations, and digital procurement transformation.
Key Experiences & Skills:
1. Extensive experience in technology project management within procurement, supply chain, or digital transformation programs.
2. Proven knowledge and understanding of standard practices, technology and supporting industry principles.
3. Experience in managing backlogs/release plans, tracking team metrics, removing blockers.
4. Strong knowledge of ERP and procurement technology landscapes, including SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Fieldglass, and analytics platforms.
5. Expertise in system integrations, data governance, and automation solutions within procurement.
6. Proven experience in requirements gathering, change management, process optimization, and technology adoption in a corporate environment.
7. Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions in procurement.
8. Demonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders, including procurement leaders, IT teams, and external technology providers.
9. Experience with agile and waterfall project management methodologies in technology deployment.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to project execution.
11. Demonstrated success in leading multiple cross functional self-organized teams.
Qualifications:
1. 5+ years of experience in technology project management, procurement digital transformation, or a related field.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. A Master’s degree or PMP/Prince2 certification is highly desirable.
3. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).
4. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive technology adoption in procurement.
5. Fluency in English (spoken and written). Additional language skills are a plus.
