Nuclear Restoration Services Limited (NRS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA). NRS is responsible for decommissioning first generation nuclear power stations and research sites. NRS is also responsible for electricity generation at hydroelectric plant Maentwrog. As a division of NRS, NRS Dounreay is responsible for the clean-up and demolition of the former centre of fast reactor research and development.

About the role
This role includes looking after a maintenance team and ensuring that maintenance activities are delivered to the highest of standards. I would like to welcome applicants with drive and enthusiasm that can bring their engineering knowledge to further develop and innovate our offering to the business.
Key Deliverables:
* Hold appropriate appointments as required to fulfil duties (e.g. Authorised Person-Electrical)
* Provide technical and engineering advice and manage and/or support specific projects and engineering tasks associated with asset care (refurbishments, replacement, upgrades etc.)
* Ensure delivery of maintenance strategy and plan for all scheduled and unplanned maintenance
* Ensure engineering and design work is compliant with Company management processes, current legislation and safety case requirements
* Ensure all maintenance related records, documents and drawings are updated and controlled
Qualifications and Experience:
* Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - essential
* Working knowledge of maintaining significant plant and equipment - essential
* Working knowledge of working to engineering and safety standards - essential
