Portfolio Account Manager

Butler Rose Public Practice are pleased to be partnered with this high growth and ambitious Top 40 firm that are now able to recruit a highly experienced Portfolio Account Manager to take up a pivotal role within the firm.
This position will be key in managing a portfolio of client accounts across diverse industries. The role involves maintaining and strengthening client relationships, overseeing the delivery of tailored solutions to meet client needs, and ensuring the efficient and timely execution of account management responsibilities to drive client satisfaction and business growth.
Role Requirements:
1. Handling a portfolio of clients, under audit threshold - overseeing accounts, payroll, billing - everything to do with the clients.
2. Managing client relationships and providing advice and business support in advisory meetings.
3. Clearing arising queries with clients ensuring a collaborative and supportive relationship.
4. Managing clients engaged services to include Debtor Chasing, Supplier Payruns, VAT Returns, Payroll, Cashflow Forecasting & Management Accounts.
5. Inclusion of statutory disclosures in line with the company checklist.
6. Experience managing a portfolio - responsible for everything related to the client - all the work will go through this person.
7. Understanding, evaluating, and monitoring clients' businesses and recommending improvements where needed.
8. Ensuring all parties are kept up to date as work progresses.
9. Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
Person Requirements:
1. Qualified ACA, ACCA, CTA, AAT, ATT, CFAB or CIMA.
2. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
3. The ability to work as part of a wider team as well as independently.
4. The production of accurate and effective work within your service line under tight deadlines.
5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills.
6. Broad range of IT skills to underpin performance, including proficiency with Excel & IRIS and Xero (advantageous).
7. Assessing client needs and liaising with other service lines that will benefit clients.
