Are you an experienced engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a skilled Mobile Service Engineer to join our client’s team on a permanent, full-time basis. As this is a mobile role, you will be required to travel to customer sites where you will be handling equipment breakdown repairs, documenting any customer-related damage, and managing warranty matters as needed.
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Comprehensive Equipment Maintenance: Conduct PDIs, routine servicing, LOLER inspections, and carry out repairs to keep our fleet running at peak performance.
2. Safety & Compliance: Ensure all servicing and maintenance adhere to manufacturer specifications, company policies, and health and safety regulations.
3. Repair & Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems efficiently.
4. Record Management: Maintain precise records for all services, inspections, and repairs.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team and hire office to maintain high machine availability and excellent customer service.
Who We’re Looking For:
1. Experience and Qualifications: Previous experience in the powered access sector is essential. Ideally, you will hold industry-specific qualifications such as CAP and IPAF.
2. Technical Skills: A strong grasp of diagnosing and repairing faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
3. Commitment to Excellence: A proactive approach to learning and continuous professional development.
