We’re looking for a dedicated Health, Safety, and Well-being Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will help deliver our Health, Safety and Wellbeing Strategy whilst assuring compliance with the Thames Water Management System, Standards, Processes, and Procedures. The role is primarily field-based, with some hybrid working. It will require frequent travel, generally within a specified region but occasionally throughout the wider Thames Water supply area.
What you’ll be doing as a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator:
* Planned site visits to include inspections and engagement.
* Support the monitoring of performance against the Safety, Health and Wellbeing strategy and objectives, system, standards, processes and procedures.
* Support stakeholders to comply with applicable Thames Water Management System, Standards, Processes, and Procedures.
* Support with the administration of the HSW systems.
* Provide feedback to HSW where a potential training need / gap is identified amongst stakeholders whilst carrying out their role.
* Proactively engage with stakeholders to motivate teams to report safety observations and improvements to raise standards on site.
What you should bring to the role:
* A basic understanding of UK Safety, Health and Wellbeing Legislation.
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications specifically Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Excel.
* A UK Driving licence.
* Experience in an operational industry e.g. utilities, infrastructure, transport, manufacturing or construction is advantageous, though not essential.
Training and development in HSW will be provided in this role.
