About the Role:
We are seeking to recruit on behalf of one of our Social Housing clients for an experienced Contract Manager - Environmental Services to lead the delivery of high-quality environmental services. This role involves overseeing the Environmental Services Team, ensuring compliance, managing budgets, and driving continuous service improvement to maintain high standards in communal properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Environmental Services Team to meet targets and service delivery standards.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and manage risk remediation tasks.
* Monitor budgetary performance, providing financial updates and forecasts.
* Develop and coach team members to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
* Address customer complaints, ensuring quick resolution and implementing service improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and external partners to ensure effective service delivery.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience in managing environmental and facilities management contracts.
* Proven ability to manage budgets and lead operational teams.
* Strong understanding of health and safety and compliance requirements.
* Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
* Experience in the social housing sector is desirable.
Qualifications:
* HND/HNC/NVQ4 or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
* IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safety qualification.
* Membership of relevant professional bodies.
