Role Overview
The company is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team. As a Broodstock Engineer, you will be responsible for the electrical, mechanical, and plant asset care of land-based facilities. Your duties will include driving continuous improvement, performing root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing proactive preventative maintenance programs (PPMs). You will also support CAPEX projects to enhance efficiency and minimize operational downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee maintenance and care of electrical, mechanical, and plant equipment.
* Develop and manage PPMs to improve system reliability and reduce downtime.
* Conduct thorough RCA to identify and resolve recurring issues.
* Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement best practices for asset management.
* Support and contribute to CAPEX projects for site development.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all operations.
* Maintain detailed records and documentation related to maintenance and project activities.
Requirements:
* A degree or relevant qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in an engineering role, preferably within the aquaculture, food processing, or related industry.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, maintenance practices, and asset care.
* Proactive problemsolving skills with the ability to identify and address issues effectively.
* Strong team collaboration skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
