Actively track patients urgently referred to the Trust from General Practitioners (GP) who, are suspected at referral, of having Cancer. Ensure that these patients are listed on the Trust Cancer IT system. Ensure that appropriate requests for investigations are initiated following the clinicians instructions and appointments are given. To adhere to the Trusts General Principles and Guidelines on Patient Access in relation to the management of waiting lists. Ensure that any newly diagnosed Cancer patients are identified and added to the Trust Cancer IT system. Ensure that the patient is known to the clinical team and that appropriate action is taken to manage the patient on the agreed pathway. Highlight any potential delays or breaches of the patient pathway according to the Trust escalation policy. Please note that this advertised position, which is part of occupation code 4111 does not meet the UKVI eligibility requirements for a Skilled Worker Visa (this includes if you are already in a sponsored post and looking to change employer).
