What you will be doing
You will join an inclusive and supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with conditions of Learning Disability and Autism using your knowledge and skills to help people along their recovery pathway towards leading a valued and fulfilled life.
Your day-to-day will include ward rounds, analysing behaviours and adapting care accordingly with colleagues, updating patient records, and providing overall care and support, which may include assisting with personal hygiene.
It can be quite a challenging environment at times, so a positive attitude, compassion, resilience and vigilance are important. But it is hugely rewarding to see people improve because of your involvement, knowing that you’ve made someone’s life better.
Working 35 hours per week, we offer 5 shifts per week or 2 long days with 1 short shift.

Bradfield House is part of our Learning Disability and Autism division and provides support for people who may be living with severe learning disabilities, autism and behaviours which, due to their diagnosis may be seen as challenging. Residents may also have profound and multiple communication difficulties, sensory impairments and physical health problems.
