We are looking for a passionate individual, who has a keen interest in our patient groups and is willing to help the respiratory, sleep, and NIV services continue to recover and grow from the implications that have come on the back of the global pandemic.
Shortlisted candidates will be contacted prior to the interview with the title of a scenario-based question to present as an MSTeams presentation as part of the interview process.
Main duties of the job
We are delighted to offer an opportunity for a suitable candidate to join the teams as a Highly Specialised Respiratory, Sleep and NIV Physiologist. This role will involve working in all aspects of our lung function, sleep, and NIV services, to be able to support diagnosis and, in some cases, initiate and review the delivery of treatment.
For interested applicants, we can provide the opportunity to develop within the team and become involved in training and to gain leadership skills.
About us
Our lung function services are busy dynamic services spread across two main acute hospital sites comprising Nottingham University Hospitals. The trust supports over 12,000 patients receiving therapy for sleep apnea and also more specific ventilation support for other patient groups. Under normal circumstances, we perform more than 2,000 lung function investigations per year. You will be joining established teams within NUH who have recently become aligned under new leadership.
