Our Adminsitrator Apprentice role supports our Accountant teams through effective administration of all aspects of customer operations. Our Adminstrator Apprentice is provided with on-going training and support throughout the apprenticeship and once complete can progress with more career opportunities. This role is also open for people with experience. As an Adminstrator Apprentice you will take responsibility for the completion of all admin tasks related to the team, which will include setting up limited companies, provide ongoing assistance in running the limited company and other associated administrative tasks. The role will also include managing a portfolio of limited company formations and assisting with Bank, PAYE and VAT applications where required. Our aim is to ensure we offer excellent customer service and have an accurate record of company information including money laundering checks for all new clients and company officials. Adminstrator Apprentice Responsibilities Responding to inbound client queries via telephone and email. Prioritising work according to defined service level agreements. Filing on IRIS Docs and Workwell's document management system. Learn and allocate Personal Accountants for new clients and emails. Ensuring client records are kept updated on all software packages with accurate data. Adhering to the limited company administration procedures Assisting other team members where required. Updating practice management software to ensure that all jobs are allocated to team members. Using a variety of software applications to ensure a compliant and efficient service is provided. Filing Confirmation statements, Company Accounts and VAT Returns where needed. Advising clients throughout setup and in relation to any queries that arise from an admin process. Managing your own portfolio of limited company formations Skills, knowledge, and experience required (Administrator Apprentice will be trained) Previous accountancy administration or secretarial experience desirable. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Able to prioritise based on urgency of tasks and new limited company setups. Friendly and approachable team member. Confident with client interaction, in person, written and via telephone. Willingness to learn and develop. Hours and environment: Full time, you'll work 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 - 17:30. There maybe a requirement to be flexible but only if the business requires it. 100% office based.
