If you are motivated and driven and want to be part of a team who are dedicated to delivering high quality care to patients and their carers, then take some time to read through what we have to offer. We are a multidisciplinary team who work closely together and support each other, whilst providing high quality care to our patients.
As Ward Sister, you will be expected to work alongside staff as a role model and mentor, developing clinical competencies and leadership skills within the team. An important part of your job will be to monitor performance and ensure training needs are met and that staff receive a robust annual appraisal. You will be responsible for supervising the ward and staff in the absence of the Ward Manager; you will work alongside the Ward Manager to implement quality processes which will have a positive effect on the patients.

You will be working in collaboration with the other ward sisters/charge nurse within ward 62 nursing team and there will be an expectation that you will work together to provide the leadership and management for the team. You will have the ability to develop a culture of continuous improvement with a particular emphasis on the patient journey and clinical outcomes.
