We are looking for a Commercial Business Partner to join an SME enterprise at their head office in Southall. The finance team is highly commercial and actively engaged in various aspects of the business at different levels. This role offers involvement in fast-paced change projects and initiatives within a customer-centric independent business.
Duties:
* Provide strategic and tactical support to the Sales team across all sectors, ensuring end-to-end assistance in key areas such as accurate pricing, maximizing Return on Investment, precise forecasting, financial support for tenders, contract reviews, trade terms management, and customer joint business plan meetings.
* Collaborate with the Commercial Finance Manager and Head of Finance to drive profitability, growth, and cash flow improvement by analyzing key customer and product trends and implementing strategic actions.
* Work with the Commercial Finance Manager on Commercial Sales month-end Commentary, providing a clear understanding of business sales performance and outlook.
* Continuously develop and create relevant insight-driven commercial reporting that is timely and accurate.
Skills and Requirements:
* Ideally CIMA part qualified.
* Ideally FMCG/Retail/fast-paced entrepreneurial background.
* Must enjoy a fast-paced, changing commercial environment, where every day is not prescheduled.
* Analytical with excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
* Must have exceptional planning and multitasking skills to manage the varied day-to-day needs and deadlines.
* A proactive self-starter, with independent clear thinking and the ability to work on their own as well as in a team flexibly.
* Familiarity with integrated ERP System – preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI.
Package:
Base salary £50k PA with 10% bonus.
25-day holiday allowance (plus 8 days bank holidays).
