We are recruiting for a support worker to work with a client who is 10 years of age. He has epilepsy, learning difficulties, behavioural issues, feeding difficulties and requires support 24/7.
The client lives in the Wakefield area with his parents and siblings.
The role will involve enabling the client to engage in rehabilitation, activities of daily living and recreational activities, and empowering them to be as independent as possible. The client requires complex support in their day to day needs.
Driver with full UK License essential.
About you:
Full, clean UK driving licence
We are seeking staff with excellent communication skills and a desire to provide individualised support.
Previous care experience with children is preferred.
Staff must be able to participate in a range of activities with the client.
The role will require some flexibility but will be predominantly Monday Sunday.
Applicants must be proactive, patient and organized and have a calm and confident demeanor.
The successful applicant will receive full training for this role, input from Therapists and regular supervision by the Case Manager.
CCMS are not an employment agency, we help our clients to recruit their own support workers as part of our case management service. You will be employed directly by the client, however, CCMS oversee all aspects of the clients care package on their behalf.
CCMS offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.
