We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Hard FM Operations Manager to join our Facilities Management team at West Middlesex University Hospital in Isleworth. This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
Key activities:
1. Reporting to the Contract Manager
2. To facilitate Hard FM activities undertaking the functional, technical and management aspects of the FM contract with respect to planned/ reactive maintenance, minor project work and the Forward Capital Maintenance Programme requirements.
3. To be responsible for all operational staff, budgets and performance of sub-contractors within this work stream.
4. To maintain a close liaison with the Client FM Function to ensure day to day requirements of delivering the FM contract are met.
5. To be responsible for contractual performance in accordance with agreed budgets and compliance with the Service Level Standards whilst continually enforcing cost efficiencies and maximising value received.
Skills, qualifications & experience
6. Will hold a relevant qualification in a Hard FM related subject, ideally with membership of a professional institution and/or management qualifications (ILM, BIFM, etc.)
7. Must have experience of managing staff in Hard FM in a healthcare environment
8. Will have specialist knowledge of processes and procedures within mechanical and electrical disciplines together with excellent IT skills
9. Will be able to demonstrate sound financial acumen and be able to interpret financial accounts
10. Able to demonstrate strong communication and client relationship skills
