1-1 Teaching Assistant - Preston: Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to support pupils 1-1 at a school near Preston. The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting children with SEN. The Role: Providing 1-1 support to a student with SEN Assisting with the development and implementation of individual learning strategies Working closely with the class teacher and SENDCO to monitor progress and adapt support where needed Ensuring the safety and well being of the student at all times Providing emotional and behavioural support where necessary to promote a positive learning environmentPosition Details: Position: 1-1 Teaching Assistant Location: Preston Type of Work: Temporary Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm Full time/Part time: Full time only Minimum Rate of Pay: £85 per day, depending on experience Start date: ASAP End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications: Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided) Previous experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is highly desired Team Teach training would be highly desiredTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold right to work in the UK Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references OTHER If you would like to be considered for any primary teaching roles, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
