What you'll be doing day to day
* Assist in preparing tax returns for private clients, including high-net-worth individuals, and possibly some non-residents, non-domiciled individuals, trusts, and estates.
* Provide high-quality tax advice to clients, supporting the Partner and Director team.
* Collate and maintain client information and prepare data for tax advisory projects.
* Communicate with clients regarding their tax issues and liabilities, referring unresolved issues to the appropriate Manager.
* Produce work for Manager review, highlighting technical or client-specific issues and recommending solutions.
* Adhere to tax procedures and compliance requirements, ensuring accurate recording of hours and meeting budgets.
* Become proficient in using various software, including Excel, Word, and tax packages.
About you
* ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience.
* Ideally, you have experience in international tax return preparation, but this is not essential. Trust experience would also be useful, though not essential.
* Proficient in using tax software and computer-based tax compilation programs, as well as MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Ability to liaise with clients and colleagues across departments to achieve effective outcomes.
* Capable of working independently, managing workloads, and meeting deadlines.
