The Company
A large reputable b2b publisher with a fun and sociable culture, strong training and fast-track promotion. They are looking for an Advertising Sales Manager to work on one of their medical portfolios.
The Role of Sales Manager
As Sales Manager you will take ownership of the advertising sales for a niche monthly medical publication and its website. You will also be selling exhibition space into a large annual exhibition, as well as bespoke roundtables, webinars and similar. You will be selling all manner of advertising and sponsorship opportunities to a wide range of businesses from BT through to training providers and companies which manufacture medical products. You will be selling to new clients as well as taking over all existing clients. This role would really suit a second jobber who is looking for a display sales role with more autonomy and high earning potential. You will be given ongoing training to support your development. This is a 100% sales role so you won't be managing staff.
Requirements for the Sales Manager position
* Media sales experience ideally (12+ months) - however, if you have sales experience within events/subscriptions the client may still consider you for the position
* Confident, articulate and intelligent
* Money motivated
* Happy to work autonomously
* Stable career history
