Account Executive

In this role, you’ll drive revenue by forging and expanding relationships with enterprise clients, focusing on how modern data platforms—particularly Microsoft Azure and Databricks—can accelerate business outcomes. What You Will Do
As a Account Executive, you will be the face of Arreoblue to our clients. You will:
Consultative Selling: Understand complex enterprise data challenges and translate them into tailored solutions leveraging modern cloud data platforms. Present clear, compelling business cases that highlight how data-driven insights can generate tangible ROI.
Partner Engagement: Collaborate closely with Microsoft, Databricks, and other strategic partners to align go-to-market strategies, co-sell opportunities, and jointly deliver value to our clients.
Business Development & Relationship Building: Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, from C-level executives to data engineering teams, within enterprise organizations. Your strong networking and communication skills will help secure new logo acquisitions and expand existing accounts.
Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute account plans that outline how Arreoblue’s data solutions address client objectives, ensuring seamless integration of Azure Data Platform services, Databricks, and other best-in-class technologies.
Insight & Thought Leadership: Stay ahead of market trends, understand clients’ evolving data needs, and feed insights back into Arreoblue’s service offerings. Engage in industry forums, events, and communities to build Arreoblue’s brand and credibility.
How You Will Do It
We follow a framework that was designed and has proven to accelerate pipeline, allowing our great delivery team to prove value faster. You will still need to grow relationships, build business cases and partner with clients in a way that fosters joint, collaborative, and engaging sales engagements. You will:
Create environments where clients feel energised by the possibilities of data and eager to explore solutions with an appreciation of a feasible trajectory of innovation, something we refer to as demonstrating visionary pragmatism
Leverage rapid proof-of-concept pilots and workshops to demonstrate quick wins and build excitement, demonstrating our team's dependable brilliance.
Align with technical experts within Arreoblue and at our partners (Microsoft, Databricks) to ensure every solution’s feasibility, scalability, and value proposition.

What We’re Looking For
Deep Data Understanding: While you won’t be hands-on building data pipelines, you should thoroughly grasp how data platforms, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities drive business value. Familiarity with Microsoft’s Intelligent Data Platform stack (e.g., Azure Data Services, Fabric/Synapse) and Databricks is highly desirable.
Enterprise Sales Acumen: Proven success in selling complex technology solutions within large enterprise environments. You know how to navigate organizational hierarchies, influence decision-makers, and build lasting, trust-based relationships.
Partnership & Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience working with or alongside Microsoft and Databricks. You understand how to leverage partner channels, joint marketing initiatives, and co-selling motions to accelerate deal cycles.
Communication & Leadership: Outstanding communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. You can translate technical concepts into business benefits and inspire confidence in diverse audiences. Experience leading teams or orchestrating cross-functional efforts is a plus.

- Base salary range of £70,000 – £85,000
- Sales commission to have an OTE of £140,000 (uncapped)

Location(s)
Candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the UK. While we are a remote-first organisation, we value occasional in-person collaboration. Any required client travel is fully covered by Arreoblue.
Interview Process
Our interview process is a two-way conversation, starting with an initial screening call followed by:
General Competency Interview: Assessing fit, sales acumen, and cultural alignment.
Sales Simulation: We will provide a scenario with opportunity to do some qualification followed by a short presentation to explore your understanding of data-driven value propositions, partner ecosystems, and solution positioning.
