The Strategy and Planning Manager role sits within The Strategy Team in Strategy, Policy and Analysis Directorate.

Job description
This is an exciting role within our Strategy Team that helps support the delivery of the agency�s strategic direction and ensuring alignment of the agency initiatives with its strategy.
Frequent travel to all office locations will be required.
Responsibilities
As a Strategy and Planning Manager you will:
1. Help with the development, maintenance, and coordination of our strategic roadmap.
2. Work with the Head of Strategy to progress the development, delivery, and annual refresh of the five-year strategic business plan, ensuring alignment with other key agency documentation.
3. Collaborate with key areas of the agency such as finance, communications and corporate governance to prepare and publish the annual plan and annual report.
4. Work closely with business areas to communicate our strategy and delivery components both within and outside the agency.
5. Be responsible for producing regular reports on strategy and annual plan delivery progress.
6. Work with the Head of Strategy to ensure the agency follows best practice and the latest guidance for all aspects of strategy development and delivery and planning at both an agency and directorate level.

�You will have experience of successfully leading and delivering work streams and/or projects at pace
7. You are able to keep your own and the team�s efforts focused on the goals that really matter and successfully manage, support and stretch yourself to deliver agreed outcomes by being proactive and taking ownership and accountability for decisions and commitments.
8. You will have experience of drafting complex documents for a wide audience and analysing large amounts of information to produce succinct, high quality briefings, reports and presentations with a keen eye for detail.
9. You are able to grasp new concepts quickly.
10. Good working knowledge of our operations and finances or the ability to quickly acquire it.
You will have the ability to build and establish positive relationships with a range of stakeholders to support the delivery of business outcomes and possess good interpersonal skills and communication skills, written and verbal.
The role can be based in any of our office locations but you must be willing to travel to other office locations as required.
