Business Development Manager. South West
The main role of the BDM is to support the Head of Business Development in maintaining and expanding our relationship with clients and referrers ensuring that their needs and expectations are met through the delivery of a client focused and professional service.
Duties will include but will not be limited to:
1. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
2. Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
3. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
4. Communicate clearly the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
5. Forecast and track key account metrics
6. Identify and grow opportunities
7. Produce and deliver presentations to clients/potential clients
8. Work closely with Fee Earners in order to address any client issues or concerns
9. Carry out a minimum of 4-5 site visits per day, minimum 2 days per week
10. Maintain/follow up on the site movement report and actions in time for the next meeting
11. Ensure account management of existing referrers to ensure that reservations are maximized
12. Actively work to achieve targets, KPI’s and objectives set by your Line Manager
13. Thorough understanding of market knowledge, awareness and competitor analysis within the region
14. Ensure Hubspot is fully up to date
15. At least 2 years’ experience working in a client focused role
16. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
17. Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
18. Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
19. Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
20. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
21. Willing to travel across sites throughout the South of England
22. Must hold a full, clean driving licence
