Secondary Teaching Assistant (SEN)

8.30am until 4pm
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant (SEN), 1-1 you will play a vital role in providing essential support to students with SEN in a secondary school setting.
Your responsibilities include:
Classroom Support: Work closely with teachers to provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEN. This may involve helping with class activities, providing additional explanations, or adapting learning materials to meet students' specific needs.
One-on-One Assistance: Provide focused support to individual students, offering guidance and reinforcement to help them overcome challenges and thrive academically and socially.
Small Group Work: Facilitate small group activities, fostering collaboration and creating a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
Behaviour Management: Employ effective strategies to promote positive behavior and create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
