Job Summary
This role should be ideally based in Dalgety Bay but can also be based from another location in the UK. You would travel up to 30% across the EMEA region to engage directly with clients, attending key meetings, demonstrations, and events.
We are seeking an experienced Retail Go-to-Market Leader to drive the strategic and technical success of Ingenico's solutions across the Europe region. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing both pre- and post-sales engagement, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of Ingenico’s products and services to our clients. As a senior leader, you will collaborate with Account Executives, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams to provide deep technical expertise, strategic guidance, and tailored solutions to meet the unique needs of our customers. In this role, you will act as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal teams, including Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Service, Quality Assurance, and Software Development. You will play a critical part in gathering and analyzing functional, technical, and business requirements, ensuring that Ingenico’s offerings are implemented efficiently and effectively. Your expertise will guide clients through the full lifecycle—from initial engagement through to post-sales success.
This senior position requires the ability to lead technical discussions and drive sales activities independently at client sites, including customer presentations, product demonstrations, and deep technical workshops. You will also take a leading role in crafting and delivering high-impact solutions that address both business and technical challenges for our enterprise-level clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as the senior technical expert and trusted advisor, engaging directly with clients to understand their needs, challenges, and business objectives.
* Lead pre-sales and post-sales technical support, collaborating closely with Account Executives, Account Managers, and other internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and solution delivery.
* Provide strategic guidance on solution design, integration, and deployment, with a strong focus on optimizing the customer experience and achieving business outcomes.
* Act as a conduit between customers and internal teams, ensuring alignment across product management, development, service, and quality assurance functions.
* Facilitate in-depth customer presentations, product demonstrations, and workshops to highlight Ingenico’s value proposition and address customer requirements.
* Gather and assess functional, technical, and business requirements, developing tailored solutions that leverage Ingenico’s full suite of offerings.
* Support complex sales cycles by providing thought leadership and deep technical expertise, helping customers navigate the solution selection and implementation processes.
* Manage client expectations, deliverables, and timelines to ensure the successful deployment of Ingenico’s products and services.
* Lead and influence the strategic direction of go-to-market initiatives across the region, working closely with leadership and other departments to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
Profile
* Extensive experience (10+ years) in a senior technical solutions role, preferably in the payments, fintech, or enterprise software sectors.
* Proven ability to lead complex technical engagements, solution design, and customer-facing presentations with senior-level stakeholders.
* Strong track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the successful delivery of integrated solutions.
* Deep understanding of the EU market, with a strong network of industry contacts and a proven ability to understand diverse customer needs across the region.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear business value propositions.
* Ability to work independently, with a self-driven, results-oriented approach to managing customer relationships and driving business growth.
* Willingness to travel across the region to support customer needs, presentations, and events.
* Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
