Roles and Responsibilities as a Care Assistant Providing personal care duties Prompting and administering medication Manual handling, using equipment where required Promoting customer health, well-being and independence Food preparation, domestic duties, and shopping Your Experience and Suitability for the Care Assistant Role It’s isn’t about previous experience. You must have: Full and valid UK driving licence Access to a car Right to work in the UK - Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and reside locally Excellent level of English Our work isn't just about providing physical support, many of our service users live alone as an alternative to a residential care home and rely on seeing a friendly face each day to support their emotional wellbeing. You can choose between full-time or part-time work; all you have to do is simply tell us your availability. Although we try to be flexible where we can, we do require you to be flexible with us too, that’s why we will require you to work full time 35-40 hours, part time 20-25 hours a week.
