Salary: £89 - £105 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time | Monday - Friday | Term Time Only

We are working in partnership with a fantastic specialist school in LS6 seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Creative Classroom Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a career in education, psychology, speech and language therapy, or SEN support.
The Role:
As a Creative Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing tailored support to students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to access learning and develop their social and communication skills. You will work closely with the class teacher and the wider SEN team to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ One-to-one and small group support for pupils with Autism
✅ Promoting positive behaviour and social interaction
✅ Supporting pupils in developing communication skills
✅ Assisting with sensory regulation and emotional support
✅ Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and parents
✅ Encouraging independence and boosting self-esteem
Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
✨ A recent degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
✨ A genuine interest in Autism and Special Educational Needs
✨ Patience, empathy, and a positive, can-do attitude
✨ Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport
✨ Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential)
