The Project: Mace has been appointed to a complex, 10 to 15 year, multi-billion pound programme to redevelop a science campus in the London / South East area. We are the Delivery Partner, carrying out a similar role to CLM for the London 2012 Olympics, delivering design and construction of enabling, infrastructure and building projects in a live environment on a site of national importance maintaining logistics and operations with technical and construction partners. Our client is looking to transform their campus and how they operate while maintaining a world-class science and research capability, retaining and developing specialist expertise, in a collaborative and health and safety conscious way.

You'll be responsible for:
* Developing a full understanding of the works information (project scope), accessing the project common data environment to obtain construction details and other information necessary to perform the role.
* Monitoring site activity through regular site visits and inspections to confirm work is carried out in accordance with the works information
* Maintaining accurate records of daily site activities, conditions and resources.
* Completing a detailed weekly site report, coordinating input from other team members as required.
* Obtaining, reviewing, and monitoring compliance with quality procedures including inspection and test plans, as-built records and test results.
* Identifying, recording, and notifying defects using our defects management tool, Fieldview.
* Management of the samples and benchmarks process, including review and approval of samples and benchmarks, maintaining an accurate log of sample and benchmark status, coordinating input from technical advisors and stakeholders.
* Witnessing of testing and commissioning activity.
* Coordination of technical advisor input into site inspections, sample and benchmark reviews and defect resolution.
You'll need to have:
* A relevant construction degree or equivalent qualification.
* Relevant construction experience and a good understanding of construction methods.
* Ability to demonstrate a commitment to service excellence, be committed to delivering to agreed quality standards.
* Work collaboratively within a large project team, including technical advisors and construction managers and will be confident in the use of digital systems to access project information and record defects.
* A good working knowledge of the NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC) would be beneficial but not essential.
You'll also to have:
* NEC Supervisor or NEC Project Manager Accreditation.
