Are you ready to play a key role in shaping the future of individuals in prison? HMP Peterborough is looking for a Keywork Administrator to join our dynamic team and make a real difference!
In this exciting role, you'll be at the heart of our keyworker program, ensuring caseloads are allocated, new receptions and discharges are tracked, and all records are up to date. You’ll collaborate with multiple departments, support the Key Worker Project Lead and Champions, and monitor keyworker sessions to ensure success.

Experience and knowledge:
* Check for new receptions and update discharges daily.
* Allocate caseloads to Key Workers and ensure all records are kept up to date.
* Liaise with various departments across the establishment to ensure smooth operations.
* Keep a log of staff on long-term leave and reallocate caseloads accordingly.
* Provide essential support to the Key Worker Project Lead and Key Worker Champions.
* Monitor and track the number of Key Worker sessions taking place to ensure effectiveness.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation is up-to-date and securely stored.
* Oversee filing systems to ensure compliance with prison service orders and instructions.
* Provide comprehensive administrative support, enabling the smooth and cost-effective running of the function.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the prison to ensure safety and operational effectiveness.
* Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar administrative role.
* Proficiency with IT systems and applications.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
* Strong organizational and planning skills.
* Health, social welfare, or voluntary sector experience is desirable but not essential.
* Knowledge of the English legal system is desirable but not essential.
