About the Role:
As our social media and content marketing co-ordinator, you will be responsible for crafting compelling content across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X. You will be an observer of life across our organisation and will work with staff teams to create appealing written stories, blogs, newsletters, etc. You will also be responsible for the organisation's website, actively seeking out stories from the people we support and staff and ensuring these are portrayed in a positive way.
Your task is to positively impact our internal communication and staff engagement across the organisation, ensuring that this is in line with our values and mission.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute creative content to enhance brand awareness and engagement both internal and external.
2. Create high-quality graphics, videos, reels, etc. for use on social media channels and the organisation's websites.
3. Seek out and create written content (blogs, newsletters, etc.) based on current campaigns, organisational life, and tailor this content for each platform and the organisation's website.
4. Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.
5. Stay up to date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices, ensuring you are familiar with GDPR guidance.
6. Collaborate with others to create informative and engaging content in line with your key tasks.
7. Collaborate where necessary to produce eye-catching visuals for marketing materials.
8. Analyse performance metrics from social media accounts and websites and adjust content strategies accordingly for optimal results.
9. Conduct audience analysis, understanding the target audience's preferences and behaviours and tailor content accordingly.
10. Develop and build upon the organisation's brand, ensuring consistency of style across all content.
11. Support organisation-wide initiatives including recruitment drives.

3. Strong knowledge of major social media platforms and content trends.
4. Excellent writing and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
5. Strong knowledge of the business of the organisation, someone aligned with the values of equality, diversity, and inclusion.
6. Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) and video editing software (e.g., Capcut, Vimeo).
7. Ability to work independently.
8. A forward thinker, someone keen to develop our brand and online presence alongside staff engagement.
9. A visionary, someone who can see potential for a story in the smallest detail.
10. Search Engine Optimisation skills, someone who can interpret and report on data from social media platforms and websites.
