Job Title: ESOL Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Brentwood Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Deliver English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes to diverse groups in community settings Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to support language learning Provide individualised support to learners to enhance their language skills Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and guidance for improvement Collaborate with other tutors and support staff to ensure effective delivery of ESOL programmes Required Qualifications: TEFL or CELTA qualification Experience in teaching ESOL to adults Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience: Previous experience teaching ESOL to adults Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of language learning principles Proficiency in using varied teaching resources and technology Ability to create inclusive and supportive learning environments Preferred Qualifications: Additional teaching qualifications Experience working in community outreach or adult education Working Conditions: The role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis, delivering ESOL classes in community settings. The tutor may need to travel to different locations within Brentwood and surrounding areas to conduct outreach sessions.
