About the opportunity
The Serenade team is growing with the appointment of a UK-based Sales Lead to drive UK and EU revenues. This position will see you liaise with labels, managers and artists to negotiate and close campaigns using Serenade’s innovative technology and chart eligible Smart Formats, with a key focus on the UK music industry and growing the business into EU territories.
The successful candidate will be a team player who is passionate about expanding the pie of music industry revenues and will always be focused on driving positive business outcomes by:
* Representing Serenade with a high level of integrity and knowledge and be a resource for clients and their artists
* Managing existing and developing new relationships with clients
* Working with colleagues to bring creative product solutions to artist teams
* Achieving sales targets through new business developments and key account management
Day to day responsibilities will include
* Generating a pipeline of artist campaigns through calls, face to face meetings and presentations, ensuring effective sales pipeline CRM management
* Working with artist teams to understand and promote the most suitable application of Serenade Smart Formats for upcoming campaigns, and progressing discussions from idea generation to paid sales
* Working closely with Serenade’s design team to unlock the creative possibilities of Smart Formats, both as generic products as well as bespoke to individual artist campaigns
* Building Serenade’s profile amongst label, management and trade body contacts through productive stakeholder relationships and industry appearances
* Managing the ongoing relationship with clients prior to, and during our service delivery until completion
* Working on international expansion into Serenade’s chart accredited EU territories such as Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and Austria.
Your experience
* Minimum 5+ years experience in sales
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both externally and internally
* Experience in using a CRM system, pipeline management and experience with revenue forecasting
* Business minded strategic thinker and negotiation skills
* Results focused and comfortable cold outreaching
* Motivated to exceed targets and KPIs
* Self-organised and proactive, using initiative to meet client needs
* Experience in developing and selling music products or services to music industry clients is nice to have
* Strong music industry contacts in the UK - and EU is nice to have

Location & salary
This role is for a remote position based in the UK. Trips to London will be required. The salary is £70,000 - £90,000 (experience dependent) with commission scheme.
