Our Client is a leading supplier and distributor of Chemicals with a turnover of over £100m.
They are now seeking a:
Sales Manager or Business Manager
Bulk Chemical Distribution
The role will require regular contact and visits to customers in the UK. This position will be field/home based and location within the UK is flexible. It is a full-time permanent role reporting to the Sales Directors and CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Promoting a range of Chemicals to new and existing accounts across the UK, predominantly Inorganics and Minerals.
2. Liaising with clients' technical and commercial departments.
3. Sample & trial approvals.
4. Formulating commercial contracts with supply-chain aspects.
5. Assist with exhibitions.
Qualifications and Experience
1. Educated to BSc level (or equivalent).
2. A proven track record in sales and relative experience in the Chemical Distribution Industry to include knowledge of sales and negotiation for bulk chemicals (essential).
3. Good communication skills.
4. Ability to use initiative and act independently.
5. Pro-active and energetic.
6. Results driven.
7. Computer literate.
8. Full driving licence.
In return, our Client is offering a competitive package including a basic salary of c£65,000 per annum plus car allowance, generous bonus/commission, and benefits.
