About The Role We are looking for a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our existing talented IT Team. Right now, we are on an exciting journey to build a cost-effective, modern and scalable data strategy from the ground up and we need brilliant minds to make it happen. What you will do / Key Responsibilities: Working within the IT department, you will analyse our various data sources to uncover trends and insights. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards, visuals and reports using tools like MS PowerBI and MS Excel for our business users. You will also be creating and maintaining high quality datasets to ensure these dashboards and reports are accurate. Working across the business, you will work closely with stakeholders in the various business units to define KPIs and data models, ensuring data integrity, accuracy and security across our reporting tools. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is ambitious and really wants to make an immediate impact, demonstrating their skills in this field with the ability to grow. Key Skills and Experience: Proven experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer or similar role (3 years). Strong experience in SQL is essential. Experience with PowerBI (DAX, Power Query and Dashboard creation) or similar tools (Looker, Tableau etc.) Understanding of data modelling and familiar with ELT and ETL processes and data pipeline orchestration (DBT, Fivetran or similar). Exposure to cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Fabric, or similar. Excellent MS Excel skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve effectively. Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. Skills that would be a bonus: Working with APIs. Experience with ETL tools (DBT, Fivetran). Exposure to scripting languages such as Python. Familiarity with data governance, security and compliance frameworks. Knowledge of cost management strategies in cloud environments. Experience in FMCG companies. About You Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field. You will be a self-starter. A strong work ethic and desire to complete work to a high standard. A quick and keen learner of new technologies and tools. Ability to work independently and drive data strategy initiatives. You are naturally curious and proactive, always looking for ways to improve and optimise data processes.
