Job Details: Sales Development Representative
Join our team as an Outbound Sales Development Representative and drive revenue growth with your prospecting skills!
As a key member of our Sales Development team, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with businesses that could be our future customers or are already in our ecosystem and are looking to overcome challenges, solve a problem or deliver against their goals. Working with our industry-leading demand generation teams, you will reach out to those businesses inquiring or engaging with marketing content to educate them through insights and conversation, to inform how we can help them deliver their goals through our services.
About the Team:
Our team is responsible for supporting customers at all stages in their journey with Sage, primarily focusing on new customer acquisition. The environment is high energy, fun, and driven. This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Winnersh hub.
Key Responsibilities:
1. As the first point of contact for new customers, you'll play a key role in delivering memorable experiences.
2. You are decisive, bold, and flex your approach and style to suit the situation.
3. Collaborate with colleagues across Sage, including Marketing, Business Development, Sales Development, Product, and Customer Success to build and execute industry-aligned go-to-market plans.
4. Confidently tell the Sage story, deeply understand our solutions, proposition differentiators, and maintain market and vertical knowledge.
Requirements:
1. You regularly showcase your personal brand and professional presence, including the use of social media platforms.
2. Your opportunities are driven from curiosity and include business insight with a desire to generate customer engagement.
3. You build rapport readily and easily with customers.
4. You're eager to learn and develop and enjoy working as part of a team.

7. Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients.
8. Set meetings with clients.
9. Identify customer needs and communicate the client's value proposition.
10. Schedule call-backs and future opportunities.
Must Haves:
1. Experience working within an outbound sales environment is essential.
2. Proven experience of working towards and achieving targets.
3. Comfortable with technology and navigating computer systems.
