Job Title: Registered Manager - Learning Disability Residential Home
Location: Salisbury
Salary: £45,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and manage a Learning Disability Residential Home in Salisbury. The successful candidate will ensure the delivery of high-quality care, uphold regulatory standards, and lead a committed team to support residents in living fulfilling and independent lives. The role demands a strong leader with a proven track record in care home management, ideally with a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management: Provide effective leadership and management of the care home, ensuring the team is well-supported and motivated.
2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain high standards of care delivery.
3. Care Planning: Oversee and ensure personalised care plans are developed and implemented in line with each resident’s needs.
4. Staff Management: Lead, manage, and develop the care staff team, including recruitment, supervision, and performance management.
5. Budgeting & Financial Oversight: Manage the home’s budget, ensuring cost-effective care while maintaining the quality of service.
6. Health & Safety: Ensure the home adheres to health and safety guidelines and fosters a safe environment for both residents and staff.
7. Communication: Maintain excellent communication with residents, their families, and external stakeholders to provide updates and handle any concerns.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. Must have been a Registered Manager in a care setting previously, preferably within a learning disability residential home.
2. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is highly desirable.
3. Strong understanding of CQC regulations and demonstrated ability to ensure compliance.
4. Proven experience in budget management and financial oversight within a care setting.
5. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to effectively manage and inspire a team.
