Client and Role:
This is an extremely rewarding role where you will be involved in developing our client’s full potential. He attends a local Specialist School, and you will support him in all aspects of his learning and participation in school life.
The client is a young male with complex needs, Cerebral Palsy and physical disabilities.
The client is active and loves being outside.
This role will involve helping client with his daily routine in a specialist school.
The client hoisted for all transfers.
Successful Applicant:
Previous experience of 12 months in care is essential – training will also be provided where necessary.
Full UK driving license is required and must be able to drive a manual vehicle, the role will involve using the client’s car during shifts.
Experience working with clients living with complex needs.
Be able to communicate with the family and fellow professionals confidentially.
Previous experience with working with therapists to deliver on the client’s support plan.
The successful applicant must be flexible in their approach.
Assisting with the development and communication skills as well maintaining the client’s physical health.
