Blair West are supporting True Potential to find a part-qualified FP&A Analyst for their Business Planning & Forecasting team. This role sits within the Finance department and is part of a collaborative team of analysts providing senior stakeholders with accurate, timely, and value-added management information to aid decision-making in a high-growth business. Reporting directly to the FP&A Manager, this is a newly created key role that contributes to long-term financial forecasting and strategic planning of a high-growth organisation.
The opportunity:
* Collaborate on the development of the long-term financial forecast, as well as regulatory capital reporting.
* Prepare high-quality illustrations and commentary for board packs.
* Analyse variances against forecasts, investigate findings, and partner with the business to develop mitigating actions.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting.
* Conduct analysis of industry performance, identifying market trends and key insights.
* Drive continuous improvement across the FP&A team.
* Support the Finance function by establishing and enforcing robust structures through policies and processes.
* Lead or contribute to various project work as required.
* Handle ad-hoc duties aligned with team priorities.
You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you're someone who has:
* Are working towards or have completed an accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Experience in a finance role, ideally within the Financial Services sector.
* Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
* Proven ability to meet strict and dynamic deadlines.
* Experience in financial modelling within Excel or Workday (advantageous).
