We are seeking an energetic, ambitious sales leader who can enable us to fully capitalize on the opportunity in this segment and ensure we deliver on our growth ambitions.
This role is pivotal in driving the company’s success in the mid-market space. The Senior Manager, Global Mid-market sales will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, creating a high-performing sales team, and expanding CloudPay’s market share within the mid-market segment.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the payroll and HR technology landscape, have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets as an individual contributor and leader, and demonstrate strong potential to develop and grow a team.

You’ll need to be proactive, entrepreneurial and robust, with an ability to cut through complexity and to galvanize people. Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills and will be capable of gaining buy-in at multiple levels to support new business development.
Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
Strategic Sales Leadership:
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the global mid-market team that aligns with CloudPay’s Go to Market strategy and business objectives.
Team Management and Development:
Transform the team to become a high-performing sales team, fostering culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
Revenue Growth:
Drive revenue growth by managing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.
Leading from the front:
At the outset, this player / coach role will carry a quota alongside leading a small global team
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, Alliances, product, customer success, pricing, deal desk and other departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall company goals. Provide insights into customer needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product development, commercial strategies, and marketing initiatives.
Entrepreneurial approach to Partnerships:
In partnership with the Alliances team, work with existing partners and identify new channels to market
Reporting and Analytics:
Regularly report on sales performance, market conditions, and progress against targets to the CRO and other executive leadership. Utilize data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and tactics.
Attributes and Experience Required:
• Exceptional knowledge and experience in selling within the HCM/ HRIS and Global Payroll managed services space
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire a diverse and remote sales team.
• Proven track record and demonstrated success in closing large, complex Enterprise deals with strong, consistent delivery against revenue targets.
• Direct experience working with large multinational / global Enterprise clients, selling into c-suite
• Experience working in a high growth, fast paced environment
• Exposed to and usage of at least one recognised Sales Methodology, preferably MEDDPICC or similar
• Strong experience in managing mid-market sales cycles and negotiating complex contracts with multinational and global mid-market clients.
