Post Brexit, we brought production home from France and, once again, the MOKE is now made exclusively in the UK.
Having successfully sold hundreds of petrol powered MOKEs in the Caribbean, MOKE has gone Electric and launching in Europe, the USA and beyond. We envisage a MOKE on charge within a frisbee throw of all the world’s best beach properties…
What you’ll do:
As a Logistics Operator at MOKE International, you will be directly involved in all aspects of logistics/warehousing in direct support of the build of these iconic vehicles. This role is essential to ensuring the quality, precision, and heritage of the MOKE brand as it scales production and launches electric MOKEs across Europe, the USA, and other beach destinations worldwide. Working closely with the Production team this role is pivotal, ensuring parts are available for the assembly of the vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensuring the production line has the right levels of material needed for assembly
· Responsible for the daily picks and replenishment of all line-side stock
· Lead with kitting and sequencing activities ensuring accurate delivery to the production line
· Manage the WMS ensuring accuracy of stock levels
· Liaise with 3PL’s and key suppliers, ensuring the call off, of material to meet production requirements
· Manage all inbound material into the production facility, including receipt and put away activities
· Support outbound logistics for the movement of finished product
· Work with Quality to ensure that reject/quarantined parts are managed correctly
· Reporting of material non-conformance
· Work x-functionally with a variety of stakeholders in support of the vehicle build
· Any other tasks, as directed by line management
Qualifications and Skills:
· Experienced in a similar role, ideally within an automotive production environment
· Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and its day-to-day operation
· Able to use Microsoft 365 applications
· A ‘can do and get it done’ attitude
· Comfortable with dealing with a variety of stakeholders
· Able to work with limited supervision
· A full clean driving licence
· A qualified forklift operator
